Why do suicide bombers bomb?

Unfortunately, suicide bombers are under the belief that what they are doing is justified and that they will be rewarded for their sacrifice. This belief is often religious in origins (as is the case of Islamic terroists) but it can also be political as well (as was seen in the Kamikazi of WW2).
