How does this not represent a systemic bigotry against those of African ancestry?

If you're saying that the Church picks whites over blacks, you're sadly mistaken.

Those who enter religious life are called to it. The same applies when they accept higher positions of responsibility like bishop and archbishop. I pray for you.

There is no bigotry. There are many blaack people in the Catholic Church
nearly 2 million African Americans in the U.S. practice Catholicism.

Some people want too see bigotry, so they do.

Anyone of any color can become a priest...and therefore a bishop or Cardinal.

Ever hear of Bishop Gregory? He was the Chairman of the US Council of Catholic Bishops.

What difference does it make? It isn't like only a black Bishop (or Cardinal) can lead a black congregation. Besides a Cardinal can have "control" over a very large area and large population.
