God as a man?

Question

Do you think that God is more worshiped by women because he is a man, and it gives women a sence that a MAN is always looking out for them? whenever you look around in a church its mostly women... also do you think God would be less worshiped, or worshipped at all if he was said to be a Woman?

I believe that there are more women in church than men, not because they are attracted to the father figure or caretaker, but because they are inately more humble, spiritual, righteous and in touch with the spiritual side of life. Being the partners with God in bringing life into this world, they mature faster than men and are more responsible in life generally. If men will humble themselves and acknowledge that they are subject to God just as much as the women are, then there would be more spiritual men in church calling upon Father in Heaven as the women already are doing.
Rest assured that God is a man. He is our Father in Heaven. Having said that, acknowledging that we are His children, there cannot be Father and child without there being a Mother as well. Yes, we have a Mother in Heaven who is just as Godly as our Heavenly Father is. So, now that you know there is both male and female in heaven, will you worship more often?

If you think of God as a father figure He can be equally appealing to both genders. We all need a Dad from time to time. I think there are more women in church these days because there are more single moms out there trying to raise their children in faith.

There are many people in the world who worship a Goddess figure. This has been true throughout history. So I don't think that a God of famine gender would put an end to worship.

Last assembly I attended was filled with old men but god being a man should not really matter one should have the same emotions with their god is male or female.AMEN but than one would probably be saying " A-WOMEN"?
