I pray throughout the day, both outloud and quietly. I ask and thank and listen to the Lord as the day goes through its normal course. My prayers are short. God knows my needs. I read the Bible each day and always have a short prayer for understanding before reading. When I get on my knees then God knows my desperation is great and often my prayer is short and I wait for the Lord to lift my spirit.

It is funny. Throughout the day I deal with the Holy Spirit and ask the Holy Spirit to find a parking space quickly. When my child needs surgery I'm down on my knees to the Father in the name of Jesus, praising His Holy Name.

Don't laugh! The Holy Spirit finds marvelous parking spots. I have favor with the Lord you know.

Anybody can quote me - I'm an open book. That book is the Bible and I love the Lord with all my heart.

I pray in many different ways. Sometimes I just talk to God, where ever I may be, sometimes Iam on my knees in a formal prayer. I pray at home, in the car, in Mass, everywhere I go. I pray out loud, I pray silently. I do all of the above that you mentioned. There is always a prayer in my heart and upon my lips Yes you can quote me if you wish. Peace and God Bless and good luck on your book

I pray on and off all day long. Sometimes I'm alone and I kneel, bow my head and raise my hands and speak out loud. Other times there are people around and I pray silently. There are times I'm driving and something comes to mind and I pray. My family and I always pray together before meals. We hold hands and bow our heads and take turns giving thanks aloud.

God wants us to pray all the time. Different circumstances require us to alter our "posture". The important thing is that your prayer comes from your heart, in Jesus' name and allows for God's will to be done.

God Bless.

Prayer is a two-way communication between God and us. What I have learned over the years, is that God is more desiring of a bowed heart- then bowed heads, or eyes even closed. God directs my prayers differently each time I pray- sometimes quietly, sometimes out loud, sometimes alone and sometimes together with other believers. I pray not just to "get answers" from God but to commune with Him and listen to what He has too tell me- I think we use prayer to much to get God to do something when He may be wanting us to take the time to listen to what He wants from us. Yes, you may quote me.

Posture is not important. The same fervency can be attained while in a vehicle driving down a highway as kneeling before the altar at the local church.

The heart of the prayer is what's important.

I consider prayer to be "communicating with" the Creator. As such, I try to make my whole life and whole being a "prayer". I talk with, talk to, listen to, sing with, dance with, laugh with, and weep with the Creator. My religion/spirituality is not only who I am, but WHAT I am - it is not something separate that I am or do once a week or once a month or whenever. It is what I eat, drink, sleep, breathe, dream, AM. My every thought, word, and deed is my prayer. [You can quote if you like but, just so you know, I'm not a Christian.]

i do not rather recognize what you propose by technique of 'posture of prayer'. yet my form of prayer might want to likely be defined as inner most. I pray silently, on each occasion i imagine of a few thing that should be prayed about. after I listen of someone who rather has issues and needs God on their aspect, I say a short little prayer for them. I say a prayer on the suitable of on a daily basis in simple terms in the previous i flow to sleep thanking God for each of the reward of the day, and contained in the morning I ask Him to bless my kin individuals and acquaintances and save them possibility-free and guard. i do not imagine it truly is needed how I position my body to assert a prayer, it truly is how I position my coronary heart.....it would not count if i'm sitting or status or laying down or driving down the line, God in simple terms needs to hearken to from me in many cases. If there is a few thing the following that you want to cite, be happy. And God bless you.

I believe we should talk to God like we were talking to anyone we love. For me, prayer is not formal. It is just talking to God as I feel like it, sharing my thoughts about anything with Him throughout the day. Sometimes I'm silent; when I am alone out loud.

go ahead and quote.
