Should a universal draft of all 18-25 year olds be part of the Immigration Bill and include all registered aliens? This would be a way for aliens to earn their citizenship. Also, they would also be exposed to our culture and heritage for 2 years. Also our own American youths would be exposed to people from different parts of the country and different cultures.

Yes~ It should be a requirement for citizenship. Our American children need to be more exposed to the American way of life and they need to be taught American History.

This would be a great idea, but make it a minimum of 4 years of service or until the end of a conflict plus six months. This four year tour of duty could include military, or peace corps but must include at least 6 months of total immersion into English language for non native speakers and a solid education on what it means to be a citizen of a republic.

Our military has the support of the American people only because it is a voluntary force. Take that away, and the support for it will evaporate.

However, I'd be 100% behind military service as a path to citzenship. I don't know if that's an option today, but if it's not, it should be.

Not disrespecting anyone but the military has standards, they do not take all Americans either, they only want those who contribute and have discipline. You would be surprised how many people take the ASVAB and fail, you would have to completely change all the guidelines for each branch of the Military.
