I was prescribed Plaquenil for Discoud Lupus. I have been taking it for a week now. One of the side affects is color blindness and other eye problems. I woke up this morning to blurry vision and not being able to get my eyes to focus properly. Should I be concerned?

You should have been told to get your eyes examined. I have been on plaquenil for over 25 years, I have a card to look at to see if the lines are wavy, This way if something is going wrong the Drs can change my plaquneil.I have my eyes examine every 6 months

WOW, this is interesting to me .

My Rheumatologist wanted me to go on it for my RA, but when I had to have my Ophthalmologist sign off on it....???? I didn't think it was something I wanted to . So presently I just continue taking Vicodin as needed.

Have you contacted your Pharmacist and your Doctor, for their response??

Good Luck.
