Yes you multiply 25x20=500 square feet. Roofs are figured by per sq..10'x10' so....if 10x10=100 sq...then 100x5=500 you have 5 sq. Always buy more shingles due to cuts that will be made when putting on roof valleys etc. Hope I was of help. Good luck with the roof.

25 x 20 = 500, however, roofing is estimated in squares, 1 sq. being 10' x 10' so you would have 5 sq.

what percentage sq. feet is determined by technique of multiplying length by technique of width. E.g., a 12' X 14' room might want to be (12 X 14 = 168 sq. feet). 20 sq. feet might want to be the equivalent of four' X 5'. So, in case your room is 12' X 14' (168 squaretoes) you may want to need 9 bins (20 X 9 = one hundred eighty)

20 x 25 =500 square feet. foot x foot = square feet. Any unit multiplied the same is square. if it is multiplied again by the same unit it will be cubic.

Yes, multiply the length and width to get your square footage. Here's a cool calculator that helps you measure different types of square footage:
