It is not a matter of forgiveness, it is a matter of justice. Yes, Jesus fogave our sins by dying for us, but we will also have to face some punishment for our sins, either in the present, or later down the road. If forgiveness mean no justice, we might as well close down the penal system in the world. Do what you want, everything is forgiven, NO PUNISHMENT or ACCOUNTABILITY. Is this the direction we really want to take?
