That's not true al. I pull dogs all the time that have never been on the grass. Several have only been on concrete, young pups in basements on concrete floor. MANY MANY dogs have to be worked with to go in the grass and not on my back sidewalkl or driveway.

It really all depends on the city ordnance, but the dog owner probably has the dog go do his thing before they leave. And just to let you know that all people who have a guide dog are not all totally blind. They can have a certain degree of impairment to qualify for the guide dog. And if they have worked with the dog I'm sure they know when the dog is doing his business. And then can on their own pick up the doo do.

Just because they are blind they have worked with their dogs long enough to know what they are doing. And many of them want that independence.

I completely agree. it truly is sickening ! although, it can make a humourous subject matter for poetry, which I keep in mind that you write o.k.. some dogs are scruffy, some are neat. some are fierce, at the same time as some are sweet. yet each kind of dogs eats meat And drops its bowels contained in the line. Wordsworth by no potential wrote some thing 'off the cuff' like that, in 2 minutes ! plenty better "crap" like that from my pen ! or possibly i'm answering contained in the incorrect type! yet heavily although, the finished ingredient is a shame - and far heavier consequences could be imposed, if purely to make dogs owners imagine two times !

I have no idea! I have never thought about that... I dont really think that a dog that is trained to lead the blinde will go potty on the side walk, but I guess you never know. I am sure that if it did happen, the blinde person would not get in too much trouble. Its not like they are just taking the dog for a walk so that it can go potty. They need their dog to get around.. plus I dont see how a blinde person would be able to know that their dog was going potty and even if they did I dont know how they would pick it up. But like I said, you never really know.

I work at a University. My friend and I were walking behind a guidedog. The dog was pooping in the hall as they were walking. I don't think the owner was aware of what his dog was doing. But we stepped aside real quick then called maintenance.

No. Not unless the ticketing officer wants to face the wrath of the disabled community and the press. I can just see a huge lawsuit aimed at a cop for discrimination of the handicapped if they tried to fine a blind person for that.

No, but in most cases dogs do not defecate on pavement but rather in the grass.

Yes unless you clean it up.
