It honestly depends on your skintype Sometimes they'll be red for just a few hours and sometimes for a few days. Also, don't be alarmed if there is a tiny bit of pinprick bleeding. The hair roots under the arm can be quite large and this occasionally causes some very thin dots of blood. It won't scab and will go away pretty quickly. Pay attention to what your waxer is doing though. If she keeps dipping the same stick into the wax without throwing away in between applications, ask her to stop. That means she's double dipped for all the clients. Wax has a bit of sugar in it or honey in it. It can't be heated hot enough to kill bacteria and wax does not contain antimicrobial agents because they are too irritating to freshly waxed skin. Warmth plus sugars equal bacteria. Waxing is a great thing if done properly but you also want to protect yourself and avoid an infection. Your skin is very vulnerable during and after waxing so infections aren't hard to get. That's why you are usually wiped down with a pre-cleanse but most waxers don't follow through by using fresh sticks every time they dip into their wax. I've seen some nasty infections from this. Just say no to double dipping...

Hi it probably will as your hair is being ripped out from the root, I dont think your allowed to apply deodrant or anthing after wards to reduce irritation. If your skin I sensitive I would tell the lady at the salon incase there is something they are to use on you that can irritate sentitive skin, the last thing you want is sore armpits. If you have waxed your legs before then you get redness so Id o imagine you will get redness underneath your arms also.
If your worried pop down before your appointment and ask.
I used Veet 3 min mousse under my arms I got no redness and my skin was supersoft and silky and the hairs didnt grow back for days. Its the one that comes with a little plastic blade but it isnt a razor just lookes like one to scrap the cream off.
There really good

might be a little red for a while, depends on how sensitive your skin is, also sometime it might bleed for a minute or so (this doesnt leave scabs, totally depends on your hair folicles) bu the redness will go and, if it's a good salon they should put cream on afterwards that will reduce any redness
it's sooooo much better than shaving, and eventually your hair will stop growing althogether!

All waxing will leave your skin tender and red for a few hours after the treatment. Use a warm towel to reduce puffiness. It will fade soon enough. :)

Yes it will leave a red mark between 24-48 hours but it will go. try not to have a hot bath or use deodorant this will just aggravate it.

Depends how tough your skin is. If you are v. sensitive, give yourself 24 hours before you try anything clever. e.g. I wouldn't recommend a spray-on deodorant. But the stick variety is ok pretty much straight away.

It will go slightly red - remember the hairs are being ripped out. It won't last long though.
