It depends on the doctor and the procedure. Just know that you get what you pay for - I've seen ads around that boast that the surgery is $99/eye. Yikes! What are those folks using? A rusty box cutter??!!
Any-who. A reputable place will cost at LEAST $1,200 per eye.
My surgery was $3,500. That included the follow-up visits (for one year), the medicine, the tests and measureing.
Just do your research and you should be fine...ask your current eye doctor for a recommendation. Many times, they have friends who do the surgery and trust them infinately.
Good luck!

I had LADAR performed in Dec. 2002 for $3000(US) on both eyes. I am very satisfied with the results. No pain, but a grainy sensation for the first few months. I might have gone to a chop shop and spent less, but research showed that most of those places have been in business less than two years and buy or lease used equipment. My D.O. has a private practice and upgrades his equipment every 2 years. I have been with him since 1990. I now have 20/15 vision in both eyes. Who are you going to trust with your vision?

Depends on the procedure and the doctor. There are 3 different procedure. There is Lasik (uses a knife), intra Lasik (no knife), and something called PRK. Each one is different and each doctor is different. Plan on spending at least 1500 an eye for a decent doctor. Intra Lasik is the most expensive and could cost more than 2000 an eye.

It's usually between 1,200 and 1,600 an eye. My husband has LASEK done (a little different than LASIK) about 8 months ago and is VERY happy he did. His eyes were around -5.75 before and now they're +0.25. He was in quite a bit of pain the first couple days, but overall, it was worth it.

It depends on the procedure (LASIK, LASEK, PRK). It depends on the program (regular plano LASIK or wavefront LASIK). It depends on what they use to make the flap (alcohol for LASEK, a blade for LASIK, a laser for INTRALASE, or nothing for PRK). It depends on your physician. Finally, it depends on where you have it done.
My uncle who resides in Australia had his LASIK procedure done it the Philippines.
He spent 1200 US dollars for LASIK for both eyes. It was also packaged with a vacation.
