I weighed myself this morning as I do every Friday morning and I have gained 2lbs :( I also measure myself every Friday morning as well and I have lost 2 inches from waist, 3 inches under bust and 1 inch over bust. Is this not a lot to have lost inches wise in like a week?? I measure myself a couple of times to make sure I have got it correct each time so I know that it is correct/

yeah I have been working out at the gym but only recently started, been doing some resistance and also been doing at least 40 mins cardio 5 time per week.

Your WEIGHT, how much BODYFAT you have, your SIZE and your SHAPE, are all separate issues and you can change any of them without affecting the others.

As you have noticed, two of them can change in opposite directions at the same time.

Unfortunately, the 'accepted wisdom' (and a lot of health education) uses these terms more or less interchangeably.

Your weight is NOT a reliable indicator of how fat you are; measurement is better, but it is still not reliable (measurements change most quickly in response to changes in muscle tone; fat can only be gained or lost VERY slowly).

Your Waist is one place where these muscular changes are particularly evident. Your internal organs are soft, and are held in place by layers of overlapping muscle. If your abdominal & other 'core' muscles are all contracting more strongly, then your waist will 'pinch in' more.

Resting muscle tone responds strongly to mood. Anxiety or other excitement can raise the contraction rate in all of your muscles. If this happens, your waist will usually be slimmer. BUT it will also make you pull the tape tighter (without being aware of it).

I won 7 pounds over the summer and that i've got lost 10 so a techniques. Then, as quickly as I get homestead, I actual have a snack (3 slices of apple with a sprint peanut butter, protein or granola bar, or a sprint fruit with cottage cheese), then I consume something, in SMALL parts. Having a snack am hour in the past I consume enables me no longer consume as plenty. -I drink water or Gatorade or Powerade. attempt to get those devoid of energy. -i do no longer drink soda, except i'm thirsty and there is no longer something to drink, which not often ever occurs. -i glance on the nutrients information extra so i comprehend what number energy i'm putting in my physique. -I do push-ups, take a seat-ups, or the different small workout for 5 minutes in the morning in the past making waiting for college. -I run a mile each week in PE, so as that enables. -in basic terms be extra energetic and get entangled in afterschool activities.

Ignore the scale and watch the measuring tape. None of your clothing sizes are listed in lbs. Good job.

maybe you are gaining muscle....are you working out? if u are inches gone and weight gain is normal...dont go by the scale.....go by how your clothes are fitting.....i lost 2 pants sizes and only lost 2 pounds.
