No, a Stand Alone Complex is a loose organization which exhibits no clear structure or roles for members within it. For the most part, us Atheists function as so, and we are able to work flexibly and quickly, although efficiency is not always guaranteed. On the other hand, a S.A.C. is incredibly hard to terminate, and difficult to attack. What advantages does this provide for us Atheists?

In comparison to the level of organization religious groups exhibit, from the Vatican to Islamic terrorist organizations, us Atheists can hardly be classified as a group with defined structure.

to Moiraes:
Au contraire, religion was a very powerful influence on the advancements of human civilization. It bonded people together with a unifying cause, such as the Arabians of the 7th and 8th centuries. These people under unification of Mohammed pursued the arts of Science and Mathematics feverishly, such as rhetoric Algebra.

Quite fascinating. This is a pretty advanced question for a 14 year old, even most adults don't think of such things.

Atheism means there are no true restrictions other than "Be good to others or they'll be mean to you". Atheists are capable, and allowed, to think outside the box. They are the free-thinkers, the challengers to modern ways of life. They are what advances society. Granted, sometimes it gets lonesome when things get hard.

The religious are stuck in their box and can't think outside of it because their religion tells them so. If the religious had their way, we'd still be living in caves.

Edit: Bonding together in the murder of others is not a bonding. Its just the murder of others. Nothing in the world, in mans control, has caused more pain and suffering than religion.

nicely i do no longer understand approximately anybody else, yet i'm no longer a "stand on my own complicated." It extremely sounds such as you're asserting "all atheists think of alike besides, so why no longer kind ourselves a neat little help team-***-evangelical militia." Do i easily desire to even initiate on how plenty is faulty with all the implicit innovations? i'm getting so ill of folk attempting to tutor atheism right into a circulate. that is approximately as significant as asserting all and sundry who does not like cheese would nicely be ultimate pal - and approximately as "mature."

ah... you have such a deep understanding of everything... I commend you... *coughs into sleeve*

Edit: cynicism is what you asked for, I just gave you what you asked for. I felt kind and generous. I feel bad that you don't like my gift. Fine, I'll take it back.

Theists are NOT centralized and Atheists are NOT a stand-alone complex...

You generalize far too much.

Atheists have no advantages over Christians. What the atheists need to realize is God lets it rain on the just and the unjust alike, but God will judge in the end.
