I believe that I will probably be worm food. However, I see no harm in having a representative from each major world religion pray for my soul as I die, just in case. I'm not certain about what happens after death. So far, the dead have remained silent on the issue.

As a Christian yes I do. In death the soul leaves the body, and depends on how you lived your life on earth. I believe that the absent from the body present with the Lord..I believe you cross over to a beautiful lakend on the other side I believe that all your loved ones who has passed before you will be there to greet you with open arms. including Jesus Himself will be there to guide you around.. Thats my thoughts on this am not sure anyones else feels that way or not.

The holy spirit judges your life and assigns you a new body, or allows you to accend to be with God if you have attained libertation/salvation.
If you become less liberated in this world, the holy spirit may award you a less auspicious body in the next life, or a less auspicious planet to live on (like Hell planet for the really ignornant).
If you become more liberated than you started, but not fully liberated, you can be reincarnated to a higher planet (like heaven) where you live a blessed life for you good deads until your good karma is used up. Then you reincarnate to the earth again where you can seek full liberation. Only in the human life can one obtain full liberation.

I spent some time working in a religious farming community when I was around 20 yrs old. One evening at dinner I sat next to an old priest (at least 80 yrs old) named Fr. Gene. He proceeded to tell me about the time when he was a young priest and he went to the dentist. He was given some anaesthetic and apparently his body reacted negatively. He lost consciousness, and then next thing he knew he was floating outside his body above the dentist chair, watching the dentist working on his body trying to restore consciousness. The dentist eventually did revive him, and he went back into his body.
I had heard of these outer body experiences before but I had never heard a personal account of such a thing from someone who I considered to be credible (i.e. not a wing nut). After hearing about Fr. Gene's experience I am confident that life continues after death.

I believe that in order to see God, we will have to be as perfect as God. To achieve that level of spiritual perfection, we will have a lot of work to do in the meantime. This will take a long time, probably millions of years, hence the 'eternal soul' we have been given by God.
I do not believe 'heaven' is a resting place, indeed, I believe that after we leave this place, the real work will begin.

have you ever been knocked unconscious?
did you remember it?
of course you didnt
its the same with death
when you die, you lose the ability to think and feel
therefore there is no afterlife

I will be judged, and found innocent thanks to the Blood of the Lamb. Then I get to head off to my mansion in Heaven and spend an eternity with my creator. What will happen there??? Who knows, I've not visited there recently :) However, it would be a shame if there was no pool to swim in or field to play with my dogs or ice cream shop or Toe'Chong so I could practice Taekwondo (I would love to spar God - even though I know I would get creamed quickly).

Yes absolutely. If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord - trusting in Him to save your soul - and no other - receiving the Holy Spirit upon salvation - you will go to Heaven. That is a fact. If not, there will be judgment on sin - all of our sin - and without Jesus - that payment is Hell. Blessings dear one - God is real and so is Heaven and Hell.

Afterlife is either eternal life with Christ in Heaven or eternal life with the devil in hell.
People have a choice. Which will you choose?
