The interviewer told me I'd hear from him at the end of the month. I've already sent the customary follow up after my interview, but should I send another one in the interim, I feel like he forgot about me.

I see it from both sides, I am a recruiter. SO, as an interviewer a followup "thank you" email or letter is expected. If I receive another follow up 2 weeks or so later it doesn't bother me, and reinforces their desire. But, an email everyother day will knock you out of the running quick.

As an employee I recently interviewed for a higher paying position. I followed up with a thank you email for the face to face interview. A week an a half later I followed up with one more email to ensure they had my "new" contact information, which all I did was include my cell phone # with the info they already had, and mentioned that once again thank you and looking foward to hearing from you. I got a call that day with an offer.

If u attend that interview as exp candidate, then it`s better 2 wait 4 some time.
what u did it`s ok.still u feel 2 know about your job status,and it is very essential 4 u, then it`s better 2 speak them on phone.
Just give a call & ask them 2 update u r job status.

Honestly I won't. If the company is really interested in you they will contact you again. Sometimes things get pushed aside from something more important. If you call/email them to much that can turn them away from you too.
