No my internet connection is Cable, and my phone is a phone line. Two separate things. Thats why it doesn't make any sense.

Are you using a wireless router? If yes, then is the Sony telephone a 2.4 ghz model? If also yes then that is your problem. The wireless router also runs on 2.4 ghz and the phone interferes with the signal. You can try moving the location of the phone and router and see if that makes any difference.

A bit confued here, are you using the same telephone line for both the Internet and the landline?
Is it htat roadrunner is just a provider of internet packs?
If so then obv two separate data streams cant function at the same time.
If this is indeed not hte case i recommend you call up somebody from the roadrunner place.

You have to be running a wireless internet connection. A linksys wireless router runs at the same frequency of most phones. You can either change to a differnent frequency of phone or you can go into your linksys router and hard set it to only use channel 6 . This will help reduce the drops.
