For 2007 it is 48 1/2 cents per mile.

Remember, this is for unreimbursed mileage while at work. Commuting back and forth to work is not deductible.

Also, if your company would reimburse you for the mileage but you choose not to pursue those funds, the mileage is also not deductible.

Published rate for 2007 is 48 1/2 cents per mile; however with the price of gas going up there may be a mid year adjustment; sort of like what they did in 2005.
