I don't want to blow dry and straighten my hair everyday. But if I don't, my hair goes so frizzy and puffy.
Any ideas how i can have smoother hair?

Blow drying and straightening you hair everyday makes it drier and frizzier. Use gentle hair care products - Dove, Ultra Doux, Nivea are good. Keep your hair clean and well-moisturized; shampoo frequently and always follow with a good creamy conditioner for dry hair.
The key is to shampoo and condition hair in the most gentle and effective way - it really helps. Wet your hair and leave it wet for a minute - then pour more water over it and then shampoo - it lathers better. (Use shampoo in moderate quantities - easiest way to do this is to dilute it a bit.) Use the pads of your fingers to gently massage shampoo on your scalp in circular motion - gets all grime and flakes off your scalp. Rinse very thoroughly. When you apply conditioner, don't put it on the roots of your hair. After applying conditioner, take sections of your hair and comb through starting at the ends - that is, take a section of hair and work ends to roots taking longer portions each time - actually this is the best way to comb one's hair - wet or dry. This detangles them gently and spreads the conditioner evenly. Leave on for a couple of minutes and rinse well. Use a towel to absorb excess water and then let your hair air-dry.
If a rinse-off conditioner is inadequate, use a leave-in one too.
One simple way to cut down on static (and frizz) is to comb your hair instead of brushing it, and to use a wooden comb instead of a plastic one.
Try deep conditioning treatments once in a while. Here's a simple homemade one - blend ripe bananas with a dash of honey (without is ok too), leave on hair for around half an hour, rinse thoroughly, shampoo and condition as usual.

There is a way to have straight hair most of the time, but you will have to flat iron at least every 2 days (although not necessarily blow dry....)

If its time you're worried about, I don't think there's any way to get straight, non-puffy hair without investing about 15 minutes.

But if its damage you're worried about, it can be avoided more effectively than many peopel realize. It all starts with your flat iron. Get the best one you can reasonably afford. Metal plates are the worst. Ceramic-covered plates are better. 100% ceramic plates are even better. But a flat iron with tourmaline and ceramic plates is the best. I recommend the Solia.

Always, always, use a heat protectant (try L'Oreal Hot Straight and a leave-in conditioner). And, if you don't want to put the effort into straightening it every single day, try this...

1. Straighten it and don't wash it for two days. (A little dirty, I know..........but more people do it than ya' think.)]
2. Apply leave-in conditioner to fight frizz and make loose braids to form loose waves.

Good luck!

One product that worked wonders for me, even though I have straight hair (my hair gets lots of volume after a shower, but it doesn't necessarily looks nice! lol!) is John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette Satin Shine finishing creme......It is AMAZING! Now, if I were u, I would take a shower at nite, a few hrs. before going to bed....Wash ur hair like u normally do, towel dry it, and pour about a quarter-size amount into ur hand, rub them together, and run ur fingers from roots to tips all through ur hair.....Once ur done doing that, blow dry ur hair in the coolest setting........Since if u do so in the warm/hot setting, it will make ur hair more prone to getting puffy......You will see the difference of ur hair after u have done this....Now, by u going to bed, then waking up and getting ready in the morning, u will see how ur hair has calmed down.....It will have it's natural texture to it (there is nothing wrong with wavy/curly hair!!! I personally think it is beautiful!), but also, u will not have those crazy flyaways, or the puffiness ur talking about!!!! Now, if u wish to keep this longer, there is nothing wrong with skipping the next shampooing to ur hair...What I mean is this: Monday, u take a shower and wash ur hair.....Tuesday, u take a shower, but use a shower cap, Wed, u take a shower and wash ur hair, and so on...U get the pic.....You give urself a break every other day......I hope that my advice helps!!!!

I would say that you should are trying it the moist method. After your performed dont dry it to a lot then put some gel in it and scrunch it and then spray every other curl spray in it only for an extra keep. And then bobbypin your bangs right into a bump that some females do on their heads (very lovely) and there you go. Have a quality time!

Awhile ago, I got a short haircut a little above my chin and absolutely adored it. If you like this hairstyle, ask your stylist to use a razor at the ends so they flip up and you don't have to blow dry all of the time. Also, get some Bed-Head Control Freak, I believe, to give your hair some volume. Ask your stylist to give you medium length layers. It's very easy to maintain.

you need a leave-in treatment like anti-frizz serum before you blow dry. I would combine the anti-frizz and some shine mist for a complete smoother look.

sounds as though you have naturally curly/wavy hair?
why not try scrunching it with mousse and leaving it to dry curly?
