Yes stars are all over the Bible (OT & NT).

Post Jesus in the middle ages, the RC Church & Galileo were so passionate about stars that they couldn't agree. Despite the Pope's dislike over Galileo’s (& Jesuits) moving faster than the Church was ready to move ... well, the RC Church is now the largest PRIVATE owner of telescopes outside of the governments. They have what is considered the only "Sun Meteor" identified on the planet.

Biblically, these instantly come to mind:
"In the Begging ... He created the Stars and Moon"
"Your decendents will be as numerious as the stars"
"Three Wise followed a star prophesying the Messiah or Christ"

------ ------- ------
Okay, Now I'm compelled to sing to you (giggle):
" First Noel" ... " ...They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East, beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued, both day and night.

And by the light of that same star
Three wise men came from country far,
To seek for a King was their intent,
And to follow the star whereever it went.

This star drew nigh to the northwest;
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest.
And there it did both stop and stay,
Right over the place whcre Jesus lay."
-----
"Three Kings of Orient":
We three kings of Orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, morr and mountain,
Following yonder Star.

(Chorus)

O, star of wonder, star of might,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to the perfect light."
