Do you think the lazy followup on USA atrocities, rapes and massacres every week may have led to the disappearance of the 3 soldiers and killing of the others recently?

There are rules for the conduct of war.
This is especially true for armed and uniformed national armies like the USA who are fighting against an enemy as an aggressor in the other party's home country. .

It is not a free for all..where anything can happen. That is why they have war crimes trials and people are accused, judged, die or are otherwise punished after the war is over.

Iraqis in Iraq are engaged in an internal war, not an international or transnational conflict yet. Many of the atrocities are the direct result of USA training and funding one or the other side, creating another imbalance. Bottom line is that the USA entered the country illegally, killed the leadership and now is involved in insane killing of women, children and men in a way that is both horrific and unethically wanton. The Iraqis are at home in Iraq....dying or leading their lives in Iraq.

The Americans are invaders, occupiers and killer rapists. That is cause for outrage.

Do you think that you need to check facts?

What about the various factions burning with religious fervor who are kidnapping and beheading people? What about all those Iraqis who have been kidnapped and tortured because they are either Sunni or Shiites? What about the civil war that has erupted due to different religious beliefs? What about families being forced out of their homes because their neighborhood was claimed by this or that faction and if they did not leave their family would be killed? What about the drive-by killings in Iraq? And what about the fear of members in the community that should they ask for medical help or been seen talking to coalition soldiers that they will be slaughtered for talking with the enemy/infidels? I hear you denounce the United States for their atrocities, and yes they have occurred because this is war and war is never humane (Geneva Convention or not), but I do not hear you denouncing the evils that have been perpetrated by others in that country. If you must condemn horrific actions at least try to condemn them evenly.

Again, I urge you to review history before you start pointing fingers. The Sunni and Shiites have been fighting against each other for years and throughout history. What about the clan wars? You haven't even mentioned those. You claim that everything bad has come from the United States and yet you won't and can't even delve into anything else. What about the Soviet Union in Afghanistan? There are many things that have occurred in the Middle East that are just as repungnent as the atrocities that you have mentioned above such as Saddam gasing his own people or slaughtering those who disagreed with him. I could even go back further in history such as the Arabian slavers in Africa who sent Africans to the salt mines and discuss more atrocities that occured in the dim past due to religious fervor; but at this juncture they would really serve no purpose. Interesting that you would rather focus on the evils you perceive in those you are taught to hate. I hope you find some facet of peace and use the energy that you are putting into your anger to increase understanding rather than causing hate and discontent. Maybe if you helped others to understand why there is so much hatred it would be far more beneficial.

According to the Geneva convention, being told to stand is torture and told to sit is torture. A male Arab being guarded or questioned by a female soldier is torture. When given Korans, the prisoners would rip them up because they couldn't believe what they were reading and so they did't think those were Korans.

A couple of things that keep the insergence brave is heroin and liquor. Those are also two things that can turn people violent and kill people at random. It's a country where thousands of men want to be part of the Manson family.
