Hi:
I was wondering, since I have moved out from my dad's house, and I changed my address from DMV already, will my Jury Duty summon still send to my old address? If this does happen what should I do if I do not know my summon has been sent to my dad's house?

Thanks.

I called the DMV today, and I found out that they made a mistake with my address because they put the "Drive" as "Road", since there is no such a street name like this, will the mail still be send to me? In addition, will I get into trouble if I do not receive the summon?

No offense and if I'm wrong I apologize, but it sounds like your looking for a loop hole to get out of jury duty. I've served twice, while not something I wanted to do, it was my civic duty as an American citizen to do so.

Trust me they will find you.

I am pretty sure that it will go to your new address. Jury duty lists are linked with your DMV records.

If you gave a change of address to the post office when you moved , then all your personal mail should come to you without any mix-up.

It will come to your new address as they use DMV and voters registration.
