Absolutely. Right now we are dealing with innumerable toxins in our water, air and on our food. We are also exposing ourselves to chemicals and hormones in many of the lotions and cleaning products that we use everyday. A greener environment will mean drastically cutting back on these pollutants, many of which have been shown to cause cancer, respiratory difficulties and other ailments.
If you're looking for ways to go green and get healthier, simple steps include opting to walk or bike to nearby locations instead of taking a car. Choose organic and locally grown produce and check the ingredients of the food that you buy. Also look for environmentally friendly cleansers, soaps and lotions. Avoid petrol based soaps, laurel and laureth sulfates in shampoos and lotions, and harsh toxins in household cleaners. All of these not only impact you directly but are later washed down sewers and drains or tossed in landfills where they indirectly impact the health of other people and ecosystems.
Production of plastics, vinyls and other synthetic materials are destructive to our earth and our bodies. Not only are many of these materials not recyclable or decomposable, the production process often involves toxins that cause disease in factory workers and neighboring communities. Whenever possible reuse bags and containers and try to avoid synthetics.
A greener environment will mean each of us making healthier choices. Best of luck.

Only if we address the health aspects that go against a greener environment. Just look at how animal meat consumption plants are run. First off, everything about it is legalized cruelty to sentient beings on this earth, that are aware of their young, and experience emotions. Next look at the health problems caused to humans from consuming animal products. Science again and again show a plant based diet is the best diet for health and longevity of life for all humans. Since we are genetically 99.6% the same as a chimpanzee, this is supported by natures practices as well. We pollute our bodies, and in this effort we pollute the earth as well. Creating sickness, and malnutrition. Eating raw food means the earth will always feed you. And you will not participate in polluting the earth with cruel animal treatment and improper use of resources created and used in this particular industry. Water wasted is huge, both in the handeling of the cattle, and in the growing of feed for animals for consumption. We waste water and make ourselve sick, wasting more resources on top of waste. This is the viscious cycle that is capitalism when the company is running the show, and the people are kept in the dark.

Mr. Obama seems like a nice guy, but I believe the answer would be yes. Barack doesn't have the experience a President needs. He's very charismatic and is able to charm the crowds, but too many people want him for president only because he's black. That honestly seems to be the only reason he's running for president anyway. Since he lacks any experience on the matter, his race is the only thing that keeps him in the race. If Bill Richardson would have put more emphasis on the fact that he was the first hispanic presidential candidate, he might still be in the race, maybe even tied with Obama.

Actually I think that it will. I think that the more we use environment friendly things, the better. I also think that we need to stop depending on other countries for our oil and other things. We need to take of what we have been given, or we may not have it for much longer.

Let's hope so! A reduction in exposure to everyday chemicals should make a difference, don't you think? We have to be ready to make sacrifices, though.
