No yahoo, I don't care about earning stars, it's just easier to count than read mean answers.

Wow, this is interesting!!
In the Religion and Spirituality Section, so far, 13 stars for no belief in a creator, and 5 that believe in God. I am amazed!! I can't wait to see the final results!

since so many non believers answered the other question, I thought I'd come here and say I DO believe in God. I wouldn't base a whole lot of decisions on this poll. I've asked questions before that got much more response than this from Christians. Maybe they didn't see your question.

Many people do not believe in a supreme creator (be it God, Allah, or any of a variety of creator deities throughout our world). Many people of the various flocks may just pay a standing homage but do not truly believe in the god/godess/higher beings. At least in christianity this is not an uncommon occurrence. Now factor into this the huge scientific community who believe in the evolution theory. Like the flipside of some christians, not all scientists believe that god does not exist. You really want to ask a pointed question...'Why does Greece and other countries/cultures who had established theologies in the past now are considered to just have mythologies, which in essence is telling those countries/cultures they were naive because they believed in false gods. What is to say that christianity and other dominant world religions will not one day be view as 'mythologies'?

I do not believe in God, or in any intelligent force that created the universe. I think gods are merely creations of humans, who needed an explanation for their existence. I could be convinced otherwise, if there were only some form of evidence for the existence of a god. Without such evidence, I must simply assume gods don't exist outside the imagination.

Technically I don't believe in any of the supreme creators or gods that have been created and don't see reason to or any evidence to so .... I dunno if I get a half a star or what lol.

I don't believe in a creator who is responsible for countless universal possibilities that would selectively listen to any one person, and only one of a particular faith at that..!!
Ludicrous, absurd and self centered even..!!

The Bible is myth, just like all other documents that describe other gods that are now universally regarded as mythical gods.

I don't think it is very likely that some kind of 'personality' made the universe.
I tend to think it was some kind of chemical reaction, or something along those lines.
Nobody knows.
