Ah, their name is legions. Seriously. X-ray technicians are human (I think) after all, and often mix up X-rays. They also put clips on the X-ray to hold a person's info in place and often mistakenly diagnose the clip as being a "piece of metal" in the person's lung. More often, though, is a button or what-have-you from clothing. If bare-chested when X-rayed, there are still many causes, none of which are serious, such as some granolas caused by dust/bacteria from grain (such as living in Nebraska, Iowa, etc.)
If the doctor did not express concern, don't worry about it, but see what the next X-ray reveals. At any rate, you should always seek a second opinion. If you are given a diagnosis, look it up at www.webmd.com or other such site to see what is happening, what your options are.

well the one thing that most people don't know is that a humans intestin takes up alot of room in the body and they go everywhere and if a person has alot of gas at the time of the x-ray the gas will show up as dark spots so it makes for abnormal results...because they can't see the lungs properly ..so you may have to take the x-rays again.
