My wife recently (1 year) had an affair. I got warts from her. I want them gone, I live in a small town and am embarrased to go to the doctor. I am looking for a over the counter or home remedy that really work that I can buy at a local pharmacy. I tried tea tree oil did not work. I am willing to go to the docor but want to know if there are any topical cream solutions or just freezeing and lazer. I'm embarrassed to ask, please help.My wife has been to the doctor but its really hard for me.

Don't be embarrassed! I can almost guarantee you that the doctor has seen it before!

Don't use anything over the counter though. The medication over the counter like Compound W is for warts on the hands, feet, elbows, knees, etc. It is not intended for the genital area and shouldn't be used on the genital area. The genital skin is too sensitive and using over the counter medication can actually burn the skin and cause a lot of itching and pain.

You should really see a doctor if at all possible. Ask them for a cream called Aldara or even Condylox. They can write you a prescription for either medication and you can apply the medication at your home at your convenience. Good luck!

You say you've tried tea tree oil, but have you tried a tea tree toner? That's what i used and my warts dissapeared in 5 days! Because it's a toner, it does not only contain the tea tree, but it also contains alcohol and a few other ingredients which speed up the process of getting rid of those horrid warts.

Also try having atleast one bath a day, don't put any bubble bath in the water but instead add a tea-spoon of baking powder. This is a method that i've heard about alot and which is apparently quite affective... although not one that i've tried myself so i can't talk from experience or give my own opinion.

Other than this there is not alot you can do. I know it's hard, but if the warts still aren't gone in a couple of weeks you should really go to your doctor. Yes it's embarrasing, but remember that they see this sort of thing all the time and they won't think any less of you!

Good Luck and i hope the problem goes away soon!

Genital warts may spread even with a condom in use so I do not suggest having sex with any new partners without telling them before even if you are wart free it can transfer. Cryo surgery for the whole uterus works to remove scars from warts and possibly prevent cervical cancer. Someone I know had it and never have had a break out since even though it is possible to reoccur. I recommend getting a doctor to freeze any visible warts. It isn't too bad. Your doctor can also give you a cream to apply that boosts your immune response to the infection called Aldara. It works really well. Staying healthy and keeping your immune system well as possible is key.

Honestly, don't be embarrassed. It wasn't really your fault if she cheated on you and then gave you HPV. See a doctor, they have to keep everything confidential and can't disclose anything with your written consent. If they do they face hefty fines, loss of license, and even jail time. The doctor will probably prescribe Aldara which is a cream used to treat genital warts and from what I've heard it works pretty well if you follow the instructions correctly. Good luck with everything!

Moles, warts, and skin labels are typical skin lesions that develop naturally. While they're generally non cancerous, they can be embarrassing if located on a visible part including the face. Skin lesions like moles and warts cause self esteem issues to the sufferers. A person with moles normally becomes a loner because they do not desire to be observed in public. They feel ashamed to be out in public, therefore depression will normally follow but now you can modify all of this with this specific manual from here https://tr.im/kiNr0 , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.

I am so sorry to tell you that there is no over the counter treatment. Besides you want a doctor to give you the best solution for living with this. Don't be embarassed, doctors see EVERYTHING and think nothing of it. Go to a doctor that is not local if you would feel more comfortable, but clear it up so you can feel better.

I hate to tell you this, but it is a virus for which this is no cure, but there is treatment. I am no expert, but I wouldn't recommend trying to get rid of them yourself. Unfortunately, you need to go to a doctor. See if you can go to one in another town. Doctors are supposed to keep everything confidential between themselves and their patients though.
Best wishes.
