in our air, doesn't that affect the pollution rate?

The rocket boosters separate for the shuttle and fall to earth, landing in the ocean usually. Either way, they are recovered by a special team in the navy and coast guard. These solid rocket boosters are re-usable, and never totally break up. It really doesn't pose any threat to the air pollution.

These soild rocket boosters are re-useable, and never totaly break up. I don't think that it poses any threat to the air poluution. I think we have to worry more about china, and there coal mines!

Those rocket boosters are collected and re-used unless they pretty much explode like they did with the Challenger.
