Symptoms seem most likely an inflamed temporal artery. Had blood test done today, so I guess I'll find out soon. Thanks for the input.

You definitely need to have your blood pressure Checked. use an ice pack on the back of your neck for ten minutes at a time when this occurs. Watch your salt intake. Salt raises the blood pressure. I advise you see your medical doctor and get an examination, before something really problematic develops.

Maybe sinuses. Do you get allergies a lot? Try taking some Benadryl when you wake up and take some Zyrtec when you go to bed. This combo should help. Use a warm washcloth to drape over your eyes when you're laying down. Try to breathe in the warm moist air. This should help with congestion. Good Luck

In addition to getting your blood pressure checked a common problem overlooked is the tm joint (jaw) being out of alignment. Let your dentist know at your next cleaning (or earlier if it's frequent and interferes with your daily life)

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at
