If you're talking about blood for lab tests, it should only take a couple minutes in most cases. It may take a little longer if they have to draw multiple tubes.

It doesn't take long, but the time varies depending on how your body responds to the process. I gave blood twice before and the first time it took about 30 minutes to register and 20 to draw the blood. I usually get lightheaded and then the nurses make me stay until I feel better. In order to make sure the process goes smoothly you should eat a big breakfast (and lunch if you donate in the afternoon), then as so as you get there ask for a coke. A coke will make it easier for the nurse to see your vein and keep you from feeling lightheaded.

This will depend on what tests they are running, but it is not a long process. The longest time I spent was a special seldom used test - "Bleed Time Test" and it took 20 minutes Most of my blood draws last about 3 minutes from the time i sit to the time I exit.- Not all of that time is there a needle in me.

I have been in and out of the lab in under 12 minutes and I have waited 2 hours. The drawing of the blood only takes a minute, it's all the other crap, waiting your turn registering stuff like that.

Long enough to take a bandaid ouf of a packet after you have around a 3o second venipuncture. I guess all total would be about 45 seconds.
