The reason people don't list specific foods is that ALL fruits, vegetables, and grains have fiber in them. Meats, dairy and eggs have no fiber.
The highest fibers are in whole grains like oats, wheat, brown rice, etc.
Legumes also have a lot of fiber - that's beans, split peas, lentils, etc.
Eat a wide variety of food, especially very colorful foods, exercise, and you'll be healthy. Honestly, people worry too much about being skinny, and not enough about being healthy!

Combining fiber and protein in one meal is a great way to lose weight in a healthy way-- when you eat protein and fiber together, you stay full for a long time and don't over eat!
Try this for breakfast-- healthy, filling, low-fat, tastes good and packed with fiber!
1 package Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal (I like banana bread flavor) prepared with a little less water than directed. After it is cooked, add 1/2 cup skim milk and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of Fiber One Cereal.
1 cup of blackberries or raspberries.
This breakfast has only about 270 calories, and 28 grams of fiber! It also has good protein and "healthy" carbs.
The fiber in this breakfast comes from the oatmeal, the cereal and the berries. There is no fiber in the milk.
For Lunch:
1/2 cup canned refried beans (try the non-fat kind) mixed with some salsa and shredded cheese (1/4 cup shredded cheese)
Heat it up and spread it on a corn tostada round (I like Guerrero brand)
Have one of the following high fiber veggies with it:
Broccoli, green peas, spinach, red or green peppers, carrots
The beans, veggies and corn tostada both have fiber (cheese does not but has protein and makes it taste yummy!)
For a snack have a high fiber fruit:
apples (with the skin), berries, kiwi, oranges, pears
OR
a handful of nuts (good source of fiber and protein):
Almonds, Pistachios, Peanuts, Walnuts, Cashews.
Be careful with the nuts though- it is "healthy" fat but still fat!
(25 pistachios = 85 calories, 7 grams of fat. 15 almonds have 85 calories, 8 grams of fat. )
* by this time you have met or exceeded the amount of fiber you need in a day!
For dinner:
have lean fish or chicken and avoid starchy foods or white flour/white sugar foods like white bread. You don't really need carbs this late in the day so have a green salad or some asparagus or other veggies.
The tuna and chicken do not have fiber, but your veggies will.
Drink water! water! water!
You hear this all the time but do you know why?
Your kidneys need water to function properly. If you don't drink enough your liver has to step in and help out your kidneys. Your liver is the organ that metabolizes fat into energy.. if your liver keeps having to help out your kidneys it can't do its own job! So you metabolize (burn) less fat, and more fat is stored in your body as... you guessed it.. FAT.
Sipping water constantly is an easy way to keep a couple of extra pounds away.
I know this was a long answer but I hope it helps!

Your best bet is vegetables! Like broccoli, cabbage, strawberries, 100% whole grain breads, oatmeal, etc. Plants are the way to go! If you are looking towards what will make you skinnier, it is all about eating a bit less, making better eating choices, and exercising/being active more! Also, drinking lots of water, and eating frequently to "stoke your metabolism furnace" so that it will burn calories all day long! I reccommend breakfast, then a snack like yogurt or fruit or nuts or a protein bar 2 hours later, then lunch, then another healthy snack 2 hours later, then dinner, then a little snack like peanut butter with an apple a few hours after. Also, drinking a glass of water when you first make up with lemon it it, then a glass of water before each meal!

Foods high in fiber include whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies such as berries, pears, carrots, celery, nuts. Raw is the best way to maintain the high fiber count. Learn to read labels!! Weight loss should not be your only focus, look at over all health.

fibre is found in many wholegrain foods and fruit and vegetables. It may not make you skinnier, but it sure will keep you regular! The good thing about foods high in fibre, however, is that they will fill you up and (hopefully) prevent you from snacking between meals...
