Wait. You are still very young. Think about what you want- do you really think you'll still want it in fifty years? If I had been allowed to get tattoos at 13, I would be covered in crappy goth band logos. XD

A sleeve is a big commitment. A single sleeve takes multiple sessions 99% of the time, and they are VERY prominent. Many jobs will not hire someone with large, visible tattoos, so a sleeve is something you have to be 100% sure you want on you for the rest of your life. You are still a kid. You're still growing. Your opinions, likes, dislikes, and maturity will change in some way during your teenage years.

On that note, quality sleeves are not something a 13 year old can afford. Think $1000 at the very least. As I mentioned, a SINGLE sleeve will take multiple sessions. Two will take twice as long. For each session you will have to tip your artist ($50+, depending on the service). Between sessions, you will be stuck with a partial tattoo (normally an outline or partial shading) and if you cannot afford to go to another session, you're stuck with an unfinished tattoo.

Usually the minimum age is 18. I did not get my first tattoo until I was 26, and I had wanted one for a very long time. I am SO glad that I waited. I would not want a tattoo from when I was 18 as I am so much different now. Wait until you are sure- imagine your tattoo 20 years from now- it will still be on your body.

The only kind of tattoo you're going to be able to get at 13 is an illegal one. Don't even think about it....Aside from the numerous health concerns that come with illegal scratcher tattoos, the art and quality of the tattoo generally suck. As for a pair of sleeves try a couple of grand. They ain't cheap...you're talking many sessions over months. Best to set you sights a little more realistically on a single tattoo when the time comes. Be patient, stay cool and look at as many examples of tattoos as you can so you can figure out for yourself what you like and wehat you don't like. Try www.ratemyink.com; www.bmeink.com; www.inkednation.com.

You're VERY young and be patient. You still have 5 more years to go.

Sleeves???? Ummmm let's talk about $500,,,that MIGHT be for just one sleeve, possibly even only half. Hell it could be more! Let's just say it's not cheap!. I have one that's not even near the size of "sleeves" and that one cost me over $200.

So save whatever money you can earn from now until you're 18. You'll be good to go!

You have to be 18 minimum...and sometimes 21 in some states. Sleeves can run anywhere from 800 to 3,000 for just one arm depending on how detailed you want your sleeve.

usually you have to be 18. take your time. make sure you know what you want. the only way you are gonna get one now is by someone who is not a pro. too risky. you are looking at several hundred dollars. my smallest is an inch or two and t cost $60. you pay for good work.

It varies from state to state---some 18 some 21. But start saving your money because if you go to a reputable artist, tattoos are not cheap!

You should not get a tattoo.
Even though you want one
You shouldn't. If you want to
get one, you should have
fake tattoos. I'm 11 and I love
tattoos, but I sometimes draw
them on me or buy fake ones.
I hope this helps you.

You have to be 18, and it would cost hundreds and hundreds unless you got a really bad tattoo.

WHAT! where are your parents.....! There is a reason you have to be older, you can't make adult decisions at 13. You will regret it regardless of what you think now.
