-dress as your favorite musician
-pick a cool decade and use that as a theme (70s are fun!)
-make your guests "age" themselves...they would have to dress as if they were 30 or 40 years older
-a golf party where everyone dresses up like golfers. for the heavy drinkers, they can play 9 "holes" and drink shots or drinks, yelling "FORE" before it goes down the hatch
-i really liked a previous suggestion about choosing one color and requiring everyone to wear it...so i'll say it again. lol
-people could dress like their favorite actor or actress...even wear an outfit from their favorite movie

Gender Bender party, once people get into their clothes they have little problem with it.
Hat party - best hat wins.
Costume parties are always fun, why wait for halloween.
Your favorite holiday party - dress accordingly.

lua's {don't remember how to spell it...lol} but anyway...hawiian or tropiacal parties are fun even if they are held inside....go all the way ....wearing bathing suits , grass skirts, and the decorations.....well you get the idea and dont forget the food and the drinks

You have to try a despot & tyrant fancy dress, I did the other month. Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot pi ssed as a fart in the back garden is one to remember
