If you're serious about really mailing a pizza- freeze it as cold as possible, and contact FedEx or UPS about cold shipping- there are special coolers and protocols for shipping things that are perishable. but it can be done- medical supplies and samples are shipped like that everyday. or you could fly out to visit her and freeze the pizza and have it checked. I flew back bbq from NC to CO several times and a friend of mine flew deer from FL to CO. expensive, but way more meaningful!

People.... I have frequently visited Raleigh, North Carolina, Durham, North Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina there are large numbers of pizza shops out there in North Carolina, including the famous brands like Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Domino's.
By the way, Duke University is located in Durham, North Carolina. Large numbers of Duke University students frequently order pizza from the local pizza shops on a daily basis.

If you're wanting to send her a pizza from her favorite, and exclusive, pizza parlor, then give them a call to find out if they can ship one to her. If the pizza parlor in question is part of a large chain, then call one near your daughter and have it delivered directly to her.

Um, like a cooked pizza? You can order her one from her area, pay with credit card and have it delivered to her! Otherwise you may have to find out how to mail perishable items through UPS or post office! And priority mail it!

Buy an insulated box from Walmart,where the packing supplies are sold and pack it in dry ice.The dry ice can`t touch the food.You can purchace dry ice anywhere that sells ice.Ship it overnight.

a friend of mine shipped some bojangles chicken from north carolina to me here in texas, there isnt a Bojangles this part of texas, maybe not in texas at all but i had him freeze it for a good 2 days, put it in one of the styrofoam medical coolers and overnight it. still good when i got it

go on line to a papa johns and or another pizza ria site and have them deliver it to her
