I'm planning a senior party in two months. I don't throw parties very often, at least not since 6 years ago. so far there's gonna be swimming, eatting and karaoke but i want to add another activity like a game (not a little kid game) or something else. Any ideas on how to make it fun and not so cliche?

I like all the answers, but how about a scavenger hunt? Things like having to go to neighbors and ask for something pink, or a roll of toilet paper or something. First team back wins something! I love it when people do scavenger hunts here, they're all so excited, and I mean adults!

You could do Poker-all kinds of card games are available. Maybe a trivial pursuit game, they have SO many versions of it. If you are looking for a more athletic type of game, Volley ball is always a winner. Twister is fun. It might be good to have a variety of stuff to do in case you get bored. Oh another I just thought of is Pictionary but you can make your own rules and do your own stuff with it. I hope it works out for you.

I have just gone though this! We set up a "graduation" obstacle course. 12 acts....starting with an egg to be carried under the chin through out the obstacle course. We went through a limbo bar, a tire set, a swing from a tree, pick up a quarter using your toes, and ending with threading a needle. It was the funniest party I have ever arranged/catered.

try to make it unique but full of thrill. Why not trying to make your party an unforgettable one by saying to your invited friends. that they will wear there most hated dress in life but presentable to the public and give each one of them an ugly mask. Then hire a no expensive entertainer. And at the end of your party let everyone who want to join the contest on stage.Let the contestant be showered and choose who is the good looking one while bathing and considered her/his the winner, it's up to you what's the price.
