I can't stand the stuff. I use my preferred Sweet N Low. I don't who ever thought that Splenda tastes good. It is nasty.

McDonald's here in Georgia no longer has Sweet N Low. I take my own whenever I eat there (I like their chicken salads). I complained to the McDonald's website that they should offer other alternatives to Splenda...like keeping Equal (which is ok but I'm not a huge fan of) and Sweet N Low (which I prefer). Chick-Fil-A does...they offer all three. I keep a small ziploc bag in my purse with packets of Sweet N Low in it.

Yuck yuck yuck. You either love it or you hate it.

I too am the other way around. I almost always have splenda with me but in the rare case that I don't and if the restuarant I'm at only has Sweet N Low, I won't use anything at all.

Even worse is the cheapy generic version of Sweet N Low that some restaurants carry , that is just horrible.

I can't stand it either. People tell me how great it is with no after taste. Whatever! They all have an aftertaste and splenda is the worst. Equal is probably my favorite with Sweet N Low coming in a close second.

I like splenda. Sweet N Low can cause cancer if you get to much (which is probably hard to do), and it leaves a bitter aftertaste for me. Equal tastes great. When I was diagnosed with diabetes, it was equal or sweet n low, and i ate packets of equal plain cause i wanted something sweet. Unfortunately, it affects my concentration and thinking, so now I use splenda. no bitter aftertaste, and so far, no bad effects.

I like Splenda, don't love it but I do like it better than the blue stuff or Sweet N Low. BUT the bag/box say you can measure it just like sugar, I disagree as I think Splenda is sweeter than both of those.

Also too much of it causes stomach trouble.

My preferences in order...............

1. Splenda
2. Equal
3. Sweet n low

Swwet n low to me is only slightly better than nothing at all. The thing I like best about splenda is that you can use it to bake and it measures the same as sugar.
