Has anyone heard how much longer this disgusting smoke will continue to linger? I find it hard to even have any desire to go outside, I was looking forward to the warm May weather. It cleared up yesterday for about 4 hrs, and then it was back again. I can't stand it anymore!

AS long as we get the jet stream that pushes the air south, this will be with us. Also they have not been able to get control on this fire and this doesn't help either.
You can go to www.weatherunderground.com for all your weather answers also.
Also I have heard that the equipment and personnel needed are in Iraq. Had this story confirmed by a friend of mine who works for the Dept. of Defense.

They're talking about it on Fox News right now. You guys sure have my sympathy on this.
Fox News is giving hourly updates on the fires, so you might want to tune in to that channel to see how things are progressing.
