I have had my cervix frozen once. My doctor never said that I had HPV. Could it have been that? He did say that the growths looked like warts. Will it return? Any info. will help.

If you had growths on your cervix that looked like warts and that needed to be frozen off then you most likely have HPV. HPV can cause genital warts for both men and women and it can cause cervical cancer for women.

Warts can come back for some people and they need to have them treated again.

I had genital warts from my HPV about a year ago and used Aldara cream to get rid of them (the weren't inside my vagina or on the cervix). So far they haven't come back.

Good luck!

I've also had them frozen off and since then (october) have not had them returned. My doctor told me I didn't have HPV so I don't know. She also said that I don't have to tell my partners since I don't have the leisunes but, it's my choice. My doc says one thing and everything I read on warts says another.

With every person it's different! Just keep up your immune system and hope for the best! Exercise and be healthy! =)
I'm still safe! If I was going to get intimate (which I haven't) with someone I would tell them and explain to them what it is and it's not a problem.

It could have been, but usually your doctor will tell you if you have HPV. He may have removed a cervical polyp from your cervix as well. My guess is that he would have told you if you had HPV and that he just had to remove some polyps. You can have polyps that never come back again.
