"Feline AIDS" is caused by FIV, or feline immunodeficiency viris. It is like HIV but the effects are not as severe, and with good care, an infected cat can live a fairly normal life.
HIV and FIV are similar viruses, but just as HIV cannot infect a cat, FIV cannot infect a human. The disease is usually transmitted by biting. A vaccine is available but may not be completely effective.

Feline AIDS is cause by feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Human AIDS is caused by human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV-1 and HIV-2, mostly HIV-1). The feline virus cannot infect humans, and the human virus cannot infect cats. Like most viruses, the lentiviruses are very species-specific.
The treatments that stop HIV will also stop FIV, but they are fairly expensive, so most people do not treat their cats.

Feline AIDS is like the human version in that the disease is not curable, and is fatal.
It is not like human AIDS because they don't have effective treatments, so they euthanize them. It is also more easily contagious because cats lick, bite, and claw one another.

NO! You cannot catch HIV or AIDS from your cat and a cat cannot catch it from an infected person.
It is totally different.
Talk to your vet if you have any questions.
