I'm sorry to hear about your husband, Brenda.
I really don't know what happened: Only the person who did the autopsy on your husband has a clue. But I did once hear of a man who had a heart attack so severe that he shouldn't have survived it at all. But he did, for many years, and grew the most beautiful gardens you could hope to see. Perhaps something in or near your husband's heart ruptured.
Again, I am so sorry.

It sounds like the question concerns blood around the heart. That is real serious information in need of looking into, try checking health-news.com or one of those Dr.com pages to ask questions to licensed men and women that can answer questions, concerning health related topics. I for one take C vitamins and try stay healthy with a cardio- workout, that is really important for good blood flow, and a healthy heart. Also a Glass of Red Wine every day, and Grape juice, and many other 100% natural ways to help the ones most important muscle we all have, which that is our heart. And god bless to any loss that yourself or any family has had because I am in the same boat with misfortune and what we can do for 1 is pray. And thank any body that does good or grateful deeds every once and a while, and just let them know what you think and how you apprciate them. I for one do.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I would be baffled too if that is all someone told me. Have you tried taking the autopsy report back to the person who gave it to you to ask for more information?
If it was in a hospital, call and ask to talk to the patient's advocate. We have them in the US and they often can find you the answers.
You might also have help from your own doctor who can translate this doctor-speak for you.
Finally, you may find that someone at the funeral home can direct you to a source who can give you the answers.
You're in a place right now where solid information would be a comfort to you. Keep pushing until you get it. You have a right to understand.

The only thing I can think of questioning is whether he was taking a blood thinner and if so, how well it was monitored.
