It doesn't have to be real rocks (Altho that would be awesome! If u know any, please list!). But those walls with those colored rocks attached to it? Any places where u can just climb and it's cheap? I love to rock-climb, but the only time I seem to actually get to rock-climb is when I go to amusement parks and theirs are always easy.

First there are some massive climbing gyms all over California. The problem is that they are kinda expensive for day use.

If I were you I would go out to Joshua tree. You can find all the information you need about J-Tree at http://www.rock-climbing-for-life.com/joshua-tree-climbing.html

Hope that this helps.

I dont live there, but let me tell you that climbing gyms are very popular. Just check the phone book in any major centres nearby. You might want to try out the gym and ask around where people go climbing on real rocks. I believe Joshua Tree is in California?

You should bug someone at the gym to take you out to do the real thing (assuming you don't know what you're doing and don't have gear, which is expensive).

All the climbs should be listed in a guidebook you can buy.

Joshua Tree--one of the finest rock climbing locations in the world. If you are up to it there are great routes at Yosemite and there are technical routes on Mt. Whitney, as well as many of the other California high peaks. Look on the internet or phone books for climbing shops and you can probably find guide books for bouldering in your area.
