becoz there is nothing made by a human can ever replace something that is natural even heart transplant, the only effective cure is pancreatic transplant which is really expensive and is preserved for patients with malignancies or deficiency in enzymes that can't be replaced.but luckily insulin can be replaced and alot of efforts are made to increase the similarity between artificial and human insulin but perfection cant be achieved as the natural mechanism is very accurate and nothing can mimic it.
i know that diabetics have had enough with the injections and dietary limitation. but u know what..the side effects of immunosuppressive therapy needed after pancreatic transplant is much more severe than that of diabetes..and if this transplanted pancreas failed the patient could actually die..
i know it's really difficult but regular monitoring of ur blood glucose, control ur diet, exercising regularly can actually permit u to live the most possible normal life.and there is nothing to do with the drug manufacturing companies.it's not a conspiracy against diabetics.

Why can astronauts go to the moon? Because they can. And they can figure out ways of expanding the human race into the reaches of space by experiments done on the moon.

The heart is an organ that can be swapped in and out by connecting the right pieces together. (That is a very over simplified answer, but that's the basics)

Diabetes is not one organ with parts. It is an entire system in the body that fails. It deals with chemical reactions and more systems in the body than man has the ability to understand yet. More than likely, someday in the future, they will be able to cure diabetes. But that will take time to decifer all the different parts of the body that deal with the disease

Teh only cure for Type I diabetes is to have a pancreas transplant, and those are extremely expensive, and usually are only done in cases where the diabetes has started shutting down the person's kidneys. My brother has failing kidneys and has to have a transplant sometime within the next few years and they will do a pancreas transplant at the same time.

diabetes might sound easy eanough to cure but it is much more complex. Diabetes is a disease in which your blood glucose, or sugar, levels are too high. Glucose comes from the foods you eat. Insulin is a hormone that helps the glucose get into your cells to give them energy. Insulin is produced by the pancreas, I dont think that we can transplant pancreases. With Type 1 diabetes, your body does not make insulin. With Type 2 diabetes, the more common type, your body does not make or use insulin well. Without enough insulin, the glucose stays in your blood.

So as you can see our cells play a part in it too, they no longer know how to react to insulin, therefore making this a whole body problem not just a malfunctioning heart or kidney.

Those are basically mechanical feats, and I share your frustration.

First, remember that "diabetes" is more than one condition, with more thatn one cause, so a cure for an insulin dependent diabetic is not necessarily going to help someone insulin resistent, let alone those who are both.

Diabetes can be helped quickly by taking on healthful change in lifestyle. The diet must be made up of high fiber and also wholesome foods. Consume four to six meals/snacks spread out equally in the course of the day. Begin doing exercises routinely. Health supplements may help as well. Flax oil, a multivitamin with minerals, pterocarpus marsupium, garlic, asian ginseng, and magnesium might help.
