The biggest thing is not to have a salad without any type of meat product in it. You have to have food for vegans. The second thing is pairing the wrong wine with your food. This is easiest enough to check. If you don't have a good wine store near you, check online. Third would be offensive scents. A lot of people decorate with scented candles. They are great for the bathroom, but if you have scented candles all through your house, they often clash with the food you are eating since the scent is manufactured.
Hope you have a great party!

1. No farting at the dinner table
2. No loud and obnoxious burping at the dinner table
3. Arrange seating to include guests that are shy with more verbal counterparts, people in conflict sitting away from each other, etc.
4. The typical formal dinnerware, matching plates, napkins, etc., aren't "in" at this time. Instead, use an eclectic array of dishes, silverware, napkins etc. for your party.
