My Chihuahua mix seems to gasp for air all of a sudden. Sometimes he vomits what he ate before having these attacks.
I freak out whenever this happens!
Whenever this happens his ribs are very noticible.
Is this normal?
Pls. someone help.

sure they can. just take your dog to the vet to get it some proper medication.

you KNOW they (all dogs) have what is called a kennel cough, right?
If other than that, go to a vet.
As for the throwing up, do you feed it fat--or the same things you eat off the table?

sure can...they give them meds just as a human would have.........
