well this where people are confused. gelitain...like knolls is made from the inside of a pigs hoof. that is not kosher. but jello brand gelitain is made from corn and other chemicals. that is why it is kosher. most jello has a kashrut on th box.

Jello isn't kosher, but there are some gelatin products that are. Look for the kosher symbol. The gelling agent is vegetarian.

That rule, the religious use, is plain fact ..
Gelatin the ingredient in Jello Is boiled down from many animal parts..
It sterile, It is clear, It is clean, and is bacteria free.
While I am at it - -I think I will have a marshmallow tonight.
TOO bad kosheretts... rules ... like the earth is flat have change. History today!!! NO more LIMBO for the un-baptized.

unless its made with pork..I am sure there is a kosher Jello out there..why you would want to eat it in the first place ..cake is kosher ..eat cake..I would..

from what i know its kosher and parve....
try this site of "osem" an Israeli company that makes jelly, they have it in strawberry and raspberry tastes.... its under baking products, download the catalog and its there under the instant pudding....
