How about even having a big magnifying glass or similar over your pot boiling your water or whatever? Might work, at laest as a temporary solution.

I like the foil answer! But a metal dish might be more efficient.

Hi. Aluminum foil, if held in the right (paraboloid) shape will reflect very well, is cheap and reusable.
