Infection, kidney or bladder stone, cancer, ideopathic (no known cause), repetitive motions (like chopping wood) or some sort of physical injury to kidneys, benign cysts or tumors in kidneys or bladder.....

Go to a urologist...they will do stuff like cystoscopy (looking microscope into bladder), urinalysis, urine cytology, urinary contrast CT scan, etc.

Kidney blockage. Need an xray. Possible kidney stone. More likely a blockage of some kind. The problem was left unsolved for several years. Send her to a kidney specialist.

It could be a blockage or maybe something more serious such as cancer. I'm going through testing now for that too as well has high protein. You need to make an appointment with your doctor and you may need to see a urolgist or nephrologist.

What sort of symptoms are you having? How old are you? What does your urine look like? Is it cloudy? Burning with urination? Do you notice it every day? Is it worse in the morning or night?
