It's mostly around my heart area. I took some robitusin earlier but it isn't getting any better. What should I do? What could I have? I don't smoke.

see a doctor now. if it's serious you should know and if it's no biggie it's still $ well spent

You must go to the hospital ASAP as an emergency! It could be something simple, that will go away, but it could be a more serious problem which you must treat urgently! It's better to be safe than sorry. Don't expect a diagnosis over the net, you need to have a heart check up and also an ultrasound, sometimes bile stones feel like chest pain.

When I have had a chest cold with a cough, I frequently get , what is called pleursy. It is an inflammation of the lung lining,but you will also feel it on the back. Look it up, and see if that isn't what you are feeling.
