How old are you?
Does it normally happen after you have a meal? If so, it's probably just a bit of heartburn from reflux. This is especially possible if it's worse when you're lying flat or bending over. Some antacids or a little milk might sooth it. If it persists then your Dr can prescribe a proton pump inhibitor or similar drug to reduce acid production.

If it's not related to food, it might be a symptom of diabetes or may be an indication to heart problems.

Well it depends where the burning sansation is....Is it in the center? Near the breast bone it could be a sign of acid reflux, it also could be a hiatal hernia....Hard telling, you should see a dr and discuss it.
