YIKES!. Get out your road kill cook book. I would think the cleaning is more trouble than the cooking.
Clean it, thoroughly. Google says to soak it for 6 hours. Season and slip into a large turkey bag and cook 20 minutes to the Pound. Check at the end with a meat thermometer to be certain it is done. 160 degrees as an interior temp. If not at a good tem and falling off the bones leave in another hour or as needed.
GOOGLE HOW TO COOK A BADGER. It says it is illegal to cook and eat them Ick>>>
Can they carry disease??? I do not know.

unless diseased or poisened, i don't see any problem with eating a badger if it was roadkill, in fack it is no different to eating pork or something.
