Am travelling from the UK to Montreal and all my guidebooks (AA, Eye Witness and Michelin) quote different voltages! Can anyone give me the definitive answer?

The current depends on what you are using. The VOLTAGE is 120 ac. 60Hz. (May be 110 in some regions, but will make no difference to you.)

Same as in the USA - usually 120 but occasionally 110.

its 120 i knowi wired enough houses in canada and thats the standard nothing else will pass inspection
