"god made animals and plants in the first place"

This Christian really wants the world to end. As far as the animals and plants go, God made everything in the first place, he can make more.

The reality is that it will be the world as we know it, the governments, the badness etc that will come to and end, "the world is passing away and so is it's desire but he that does the will of God remains forever."

"There are a new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell" 2 Peter 3 v13

Note that the disciples asked in Matthew 24 v 3 " tell us, when will these things be, what will be the sign of your presence and the conclusion of the system of things"

Reference is to the "system of things".

The earth survived the flood in Noahs day.

Luke 17v26 says"Just as it occured in the day s of Noah, so it will also be in the days of the son of man"

the end of the world is a metaphor that went terribly wrong. its used to cause fear in people now. just like the year 2000 was supposed to be the end of times and it didn't happen. many religions around the world have end of time stories. my favorite is the Mayans. their end of this CYCLE will be Dec.21, 2012.

What's the hurry to get to heaven? We're all going to die. Enjoy the time you have here. Why ask the Rapture to kill off your non-Christian friends? This sounds like something the OT God would do.

Yes I do, as the return of Jesus gets closer the world is getting uglier. Infact it will not be the end of the world, it will be the end of age. And that will happen after the millenium rule of precious Jesus.

God will take care of all the animals, after all He did create them and as for the world, I can't wait until it ends. I am so looking forward to the rapture. Everyday I hope Jesus will come and get me and everyone else who is saved and take us home.

it's not that we want the world to end it's just when that time comes we not gonna refuse and say no we don't wanna go to heaven now, we wanna stay on earth. When that time comes for us to go to heaven we will go to heaven on that time. not any other way.

Of course they do. There are several groups already working towards that end. They are sadly deluded that some form of rapture will occur.

Atheism. You know it makes sense.
